ECCOMAS has started the procedure to implement - at the beginning - five committees, called ECCOMAS Committees (EC's):

  1. ECCSM - EC on Computational Solid and Structural Mechanics
  2. ECCFD - EC on Computational Fluid Dynamics
  3. ECCAE - EC on Computer Aided Engineering
  4. ECCAM - EC on Computational and Applied Mathematics
  5. ECILA - EC on Industrial Liaison Activities
