The scientific programme of the 3rd International Congress on Industrial and Applied Mathematics (ICIAM 95) held in Hamburg, Germany, July 3-7, 1995, was composed of Invited and Contributed Lectures, Minisymposia and Poster Presentations.
In a separate volume published by Akademie-Verlag the Invited Lectures and contributions from the Invited Minisymposia are collected. In five special issues of ZAMM papers from Minisymposia, Contributed Lectures and Poster Presentations have been sel
