Conformal geometry, Dirac operators, analysis on manifolds |
Bernd Ammann is interested in geometric partial differential equations on manifolds, partially motivated by physical problems. His works can be roughly separated into three groups: 1. conformal geometry, in particular the Yamabe-problem, the positive mass theorem, the kernel of the Dirac operator, bordisms. 2. pseudodifferential operators on non-compact manifolds and applications 3. estimations of eigenvalues of Dirac and Laplace operators and relations to the generalized Weierstrass representation. |
