Number theory and algebraic geometry, especially motives and étale cohomology

My general field is the arithmetic geometry, i.e., the solution of arithmetic questions with tools coming from algebraic geomtry. In particular I am interested in the structure and cohomology of Galois groups, and in the theory of motives and motivic cohomology. This includes the investigation of various cohomology theories and their fine structures. Recently I have also worked on resolution of singularities.
