Thomas Nikolaus

I am a postdoc at University of Regensburg in the group of Ulrich Bunke. Before, I was a PhD student at University of Hamburg.

My research areas are differential geometry of gerbes and higher gauge theory. These higher structures are use to unterstand the mathematical aspects of classical and quantum field theories. I am also interested in higher category theory, and homotopy theory.
