\KurzfassungAnfang      %abstract -- begin

One of the standard methods for the computation of the correlation energy of molecular systems
is many-body perturbation theory. For smaller molecules, the computation of the 
perturbation series for the ground state energy up to fifth order can be done. As shown in [1],
term-by-term summation of the perturbation expansion can be improved using a variant of a 
method where the unperturbed Hamilton operator is rescaled [2,3].        
The scaling parameter is chosen variationally such that the
renormalized correlation energy in some order is independent of the parameter. 
Pad\'e approximants are an alternative method to resum the perturbation series. Certain
approximants are also invariant under the scaling [4].
