Gender Studies at Regensburg

Regensburg is the only Bavarian University that offers Gender Studies as a programme of studies.

Students of the programme learn to approach the cultural construction of gender roles, feminism, masculinity, as well as sexuality from a critical and academic perspective.
Introductions to Gender Studies as well as Introductions to the Methods of Gender Studies are offered each semester.
Moreover there are gender-related courses from a wide variety of subjects in which students can acquire credits.
Regular guest lectures and lectures series are also offered.
The programme now also has its own series of publications, "Regensburger Beiträge zur Genderforschung", with Universitätsverlag Winter in Heidelberg.
