Core Modules

Three core modules (Schwerpunktmodule) have to be selected (24 CP each), whereas one core module can be replaced by an elective module (Wahlmodul). Each module can be completed in one or two semesters. In each semester courses of several modules can be attended.

Module final oral examination

The examination has to be registered at the examination office.

Procedure:

After all courses of the module are completed the student,

• arranges an appointment for the examination with a professor of own choice,
• fills in the examination form ('Anmeldung zur Masterprüfung Biologie' download) and sends the form to the examination office.

The examination office sends the required examination documents to the examiner. After the examination the examiner sends the documents back to the examination office.
