General Information

Participation is restricted to 45 participants.

Registration is scheduled on Sunday, July 20th, from 16.00 to 18:00, at the Thom-Dittmer-Palais, Regensburg city (Haidplatz). A welcome party will follow.

Morning sessions and tutorials
The school will be held from July 21st to July 25th at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Regensburg (H48). The morning sessions will be devoted to lectures by experts. The afternoons will be dedicated to practical sessions. In the hands-on tutorials, it will be shown how to use new capabilities of CRYSTAL14 and CRYSCOR.

Posters
Participants will have the opportunity to present posters that will be on display during a special session on Wednesday 23th, afternoon.

Social events
On Sunday 20th, a Welcome Party will be offered after the registration.
On Wednesday 23th, after the poster session, there will be a tour to Walhalla.

Participation fees

Participation fee with accommodation (limited to 20 places) 500,00 €.
It includes:

accommodation at the Brook lane hostel Regensburg (in group rooms for six nights, from Sunday 20th to Friday 25th July 2014, included)

access to lectures and tutorials sessions

morning coffee break and lunch (21-25 July 2014)

all social events

The participation fee without accomodation is 380,00 €

Lodging

Low cost accommodation:
20 places have been reserved at the Brook lane hostel Regensburg (group rooms: 5 persons). Accommodation can be booked when filling the registration form.
The policy is: first in, first served.

The local organizing committee will not take care of hotel reservation.

Travelling to Regensburg with respect to Munich (München), Nuremberg (Nürnberg)

 

By plane: - airport Nuremberg (NUE): - U2 (Röthenbach) to Hauptbahnhof - then train RE to Regensburg (1 h) - airport Munich (MUC-FJS): - S2 or S8 to Hauptbahnhof - then train RE to R (1.5 h) or - bus shuttle to Freising, then train - less recommended: Frankfurt, then train (4 h)

By train - Regensburg Hauptbahnhof (main station)

By bus from train station: Bus 6 (Klinikum) or 11 (Burgweinting) to Universität

The Campus of the University of Regensburg is situated in the south of Regensburg, 5 km from the historical city center.

Car access: Highway A 3 (Nuremberg-Passau), exit: Universitaet/Klinkum, free parking at the university next to Biopark (Josef-Engert-Strasse, Tiefstrasse Ost)

Train/Bus: Main station, then Bus 6 (Direction Universitaet!), Exit Otto-Hahn-Strasse or Universitaet (see Map)

Airplane: Munich airport, then train or airport shuffle to Regensburg
Airplaine: Nuremberg airport, then train to Regensburg
