Fees are due at the time of registration. If fees are paid in advance, but after September 5th, we kindly ask participants to show proof of payment when claiming their tickets and congress papers at the registration desk. Credit cards will not be accepted.

Submission of abstracts

Scientific contributions, preparation and submission of abstracts

The participants (registration required) are invited to present posters (maximum poster size: A0 oversize, 90 cm width x 120 cm height).

Online abstract submission is required before August 15th, 2016.

Preparation of the abstracts

Abstracts must be submitted in English and formatted as follows:

  • one page only
  • Paper format: DIN A4, 21 cm x 29.7 cm, portrait format; white paper
  • Upper margin: 5.8 cm; lower margin: 7.3 cm; left and right margin: 4.0 cm each
  • Font size not smaller than 12 pt
  • Top: title (first letter upper case, then lower case); next line: authors (name, followed by initials of first name(s)); next line: affiliation and address; next line: empty; abstract (text)

The preferred format for uploading is Abobe Acrobat (pdf), MS Word (doc or docx) and the Rich Text Format (rtf) are also possible.

How to get to the venue

The conference venue is located in the building of the Faculty of Chemistry (lecture hall H44).

Arrival by bus

  • From main station (Albertstraße/D.-Martin-Luther-Straße, 2 min from main station): 
    • Take line 6 (direction 'Klinikum') to the University (bus stop‚ "Universität") or line 11 (direction "Burgweinting") to the University (bus stop "Universität"), then follow the signs to the Chemistry building (H44).
  • City bus tickets for the duration of the conference will be provided free of charge at the registration desk upon request.

Arrival by train

  • IC/ICE or regional train to Regensburg main station 
  • From main station (Hauptbahnhof) to university:
    - The university is located 25-30 min walking
       distance from the station.
    - Taxi stand: in front of the station
    - City bus from main station to university see
       "arrival by bus".

Arrival by car

  • From Nuremberg or Passau via A3: follow signs to Regensburg, take exit 'Klinikum/Universität' (A3)
  • From Munich or Berlin via A 93: change to A3 at 'Autobahnkreuz Regensburg', direction Passau, then take exit 'Klinikum/Universität' (A3).
    The university is located  very close to A3 (see map below)

Arrival by plane

  • Nuremberg Airport: take the subway or the bus to Nuremberg main station (10-15 min), then take the train to Regensburg (about 1 hour). Trains to Regensburg are leaving from Nuremberg every hour.

  • Munich Airport:

option 1 - take the Postbus (6 times a day) - can be prebooked via https://www.postbus.de or www.lufthansa.com

option 2 - take the shuttle bus to Freising main
station, then take the train to Regensburg (about 70 minutes).
Trains to Regensburg are leaving from Freising every hour.

option 3 - take the Airportliner airport shuttle.

  • Frankfurt/Main Int. Airport: take the train (about 3.5 hours) to Regensburg main station (Hauptbahnhof). Trains to Regensburg are leaving every hour.
