CIP Pools
All CIP pools of Universität Regensburg are equipped with laser printers for all users. The local pool printers are preset for black-and-white prints.
For more special printing jobs like link colour printing or jobs larger than 20 pages and bigger formats you can use our CC printing centre in the machine shop.

Printing Centre
You may use not only the black-and-white printers in the CIP pools, but also the RIO printers of the computer centre. The printing jobs for RIO printers can also be initiated from the CIP pool computers. Please come to the machine shop of the computer centre to collect your printed copies. You will find the entrance to the machine shop underneath the steps at the main entrance of the computer centre.
The RIO printers are excellent for colour printing, larger printing jobs (more than 20 pages) and large formats.

Prices
The printers vary as considerable as to quality and printing costs. The choice of the printer depends on the printing job:
- for standard texts with B&W images: CIP-pool printer
- for prints larger than A3: plotter
- for printing jobs of more that 50 pages: RIO_DRUCKER or RIO_LASER
- for colour printing in A4 or A3: RIO_FARBE
Please allow up to 30 minutes if you use the printer in the machine shop depending on the printing job. The RIO Printer Database Enquiry helps you to find the right printer for your printing job.
