Using computers in the data networks of the university (WLAN and LAN)

All users at the university with a valid CC account can register their computers, laptops and notebooks so they have access to the university’s data network. Users can register via their personal status page after clicking on the URL http://register.uni-regensburg.de. For registration, the following data need to be filled in:

• the computer’s location (building and room number)
• if applicable: use of a special network (administration network, library network etc.)
• CC account of the person registering the computer
• CC account of the person for whom the computer is registered
• eDirectory container of the institute, chair or institution, in the rooms of which the computer is mainly used
