Universität Regensburg offers currently eight English-taught degree programmes on master level (see list below). Master programmes in Chemistry, Mathematics and Nanoscience are partly taught in Englih. All bachelor programmes are German-taught programmes.
Please note: Although applicants do not need to fulfil any German language requirements for these English taught programmes, we highly recommend the knowledge of basic German language skills in order to manage every day situations and administrative tasks.
The MSc programmes in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Nanoscience (new!) are partly taught in English. In Chemistry and Nanoscience students still need to pass the German language test (DSH) before they can register, however, all courses on master level are taught in English if so requested. In Mathematics, students should have basic German language skills. They do not need to pass the DSH before registration, however. All courses are taught in English as long as a students needs instruction in English.
COSOM: Basic German language skills are highly recommended as not all courses offered within the programme are already taught in English. For further information, please contact Prof. Kunz.
Applicants have to apply to the departments directly. Please follow the links above for the departemental information and contacts. After students have been accepted by the department, they have to hand in their papers to the university's administration (registry).
Application Deadlines:
Most graduate programmes have an earlier deadline than July 15. Quite ofter the deadline is early June. The ECN Programme already has an early application in January.
