How to find us

By car via the motorway A 3:
(Nuremberg-Passau / Passau-Nuremberg)

Take the exit "Universität / Klinikum Regensburg" (University / University Hospital Regensburg). Follow the signs to ‘Bezirksklinikum’ (District Hospital).
After passing the pedestrian underpass of the university main building, you must head straight over the intersection which will lead you directly to the main entrance of the District Hospital. The visitor parking lot is situated to the right when approaching the main entrance pikes.

By car via the motorway A 93:
(Munich-Weiden / Weiden - Munich)

Take the exit " Regensburg Kumpfmühl" and follow the sign „Bezirksklinikum’ (District Hospital)". The visitor parking lot is situated to the right when approaching the main entrance pikes.

By bus and train:

Public transit buses no. 2B, 6, 11 connect the District Hospital with the central railway station Regensburg. The main bus station in Albertstraße (Albert Street) is close to the central station (please exit the central station in the direction of the city center, not the Arcades) .

From Alberstraße, you can take bus no. 2B (direction: Karl_Stieler-Straße), no. 6 (direction: Universitätsklinikum/University Hospital) and no. 11 (direction: Burgw. Herm.-Höcherl-Straße). These buses take about 10 min. to get to the University main entrance. Please note that bus no. 6 leaves just around the corner of Albert Street at Galgenberg Bridge.

To reach the District Hospital, exit the bus at following bus stops:

Bus 2B:  Universität-Haupteingang/Bezirksklinikum (University main entrance/District Hospital)

Bus 6:  Universität-Haupteingang/Bezirksklinikum (University main entrance/District Hospital)

Bus 11  Ludwig-Thoma-Straße

With few steps you reach the District Hospital Regensburg.

During peak-hours from 7 to 10 a.m. and 3 to 6 p.m., buses run every ten minutes; during off-peak hours, buses run every 20 minutes and after 8 p.m every 30 minutes. From midnight to 6 a.m., no bus service is available.
