The Department of English and American Studies, comprising of the three research groups English Linguistics, British/Irish Studies and American Studies offers the following graduate programmes of study:

Admission:
Prerequisite is an above-average first academic degree in a relevant discipline - usually a B.A. or equivalent or higher. Applicants need to demonstrate an excellent command of the English language at level C1 or higher (or equivalent). Applicants must also demonstrate their aptitude for an M.A. This is usually documents be their CV, a list of courses attended so gar plus an outline of their future career plans. Already estalished research intereste and relevant extracurricular activities should also be mentioned, as well as stays abroad that are relevant to your studies.
