Scholarships

General Information

The basic requirement for quickly completing your dissertation is to securely fund your doctoral studies. Some scholarships can only be applied for from your home university (for example, scholarships of the Deutschen Akademischen Austauschdienstes DAAD).

As an alternative to a scholarship, doctoral projects are also often financed through income from employment of the doctoral student by the faculty. Ask your advisor about this.

The newsletter "Research in Germany.de", an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Education and research, edited by the DAAD, offers news from all areas of research especially intendend for international scholars every 2 months.
