Women International

The group “Frauen International - Uni Regensburg” is an organisation founded 30 years ago and run by university spouses in cooperation with the Akademisches Auslandsamt for the benefit of female PhD students and researchers from abroad and their families.

We offer you the chance to meet others as well as hospitality and help for everyday life problems. Our goal is to make your stay in Regensburg as pleasant and interesting as possible.

 We organize several events for you:

• several times each year a meeting is held at the home of a German hostess
• during the summer term we organize excursions
• each semester we invite you to a party at the University

Come and see our multicultural group. We speak many languages, and it is also a good opportunity for you to practice your German. In our meetings, you will receive information about language courses, nursery schools and schools, and you will learn a lot about life in Regensburg.

Transport to these meetings will be provided.
