What does "Startklar" stand for?

Startklar is an orientation programme free of charge for new international students.

Content and Organisation

During the programme you will receive all necessary information and help you need for completing the formalities at the beginning of your studies e.g. opening a bank account, getting health insurance, getting your student ID, visa regulations.

The programme includes tours through the library, the computer labs, several campus tours, extra-curricular activities as well as guided tours through the city.

Registration

Together with your letter of admission you will receive a registration form for "Startklar". This form needs to be handed in either directly at the Studentenkanzlei (the Office of the Registrar) or at the International Office (Ms Wunderlich).
