Accommodation

For visiting researchers there is the possibility to apply for a flat in the Haus der Begegnung , the university's guest house (contact: Tanja Strobl). Altogether there are only 14 flats available, so unfortunately there is no guarantee that you will get accommodation here.

Reservations for a flat have to be made through your German host! Please ask your German host or advisor to help you find accommodation, and/or to contact Ms Strobl.

The International Office has created an overview of accommodation possibilties that can at least be helpful for bridging the gap between the first few weeks or for short term stays. Please contact Tanja Strobl if you need assistance in this regard.

Sometimes you cannot avoid having to stay at a hotel for one or two nights before moving into your own room.
