BAYHOST Mobility Grants 2025.

Research sojourn of students and early-stage researchers

Advanced students and early-stage researchers from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe or Bavaria have the possibility to apply in cooperation with an academic supervisor from a Bavarian university for mobility grants for a research sojourn in Bavaria or Eastern Europe (travel expenses/allowance, accommodation expenses).

The program’s focus in 2025 is put on the region / countries: Western Balkan countries and Ukraine.

Maximum funding amount: 1.000 Euro

Deadline for applications: April 30, 2025 (online via our StipSys Application form only)

The following documents have to be handed in to BAYHOST within four weeks after the research sojourn or at the latest until 28th November 2025:

• report on expenditure of funds („Verwendungsnachweis“)
• list of receipts („Einzelbelegliste“)
• Evaluation report (formless)

Internships in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe

BAYHOST offers to students of Bavarian universities the possibility to apply for flexible internship grants in order to facilitate internships and gain experience in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe.

Funding amount: 450 Euro

The next due dates:

Tuesday, 3 December 2024 at 24:00 (CET).

A second call for proposals for 2025 will very probably take place as planned, with a deadline expected in the first half of March, and will be announced on the website in good time. A third, even later call for proposals is planned for late May/early June 2025, depending on the budget available. (as of 05 November 2024).
