Teaching goals

The portfolio of courses comprises lectures and practical exercises on methods and models for the design of secure information systems and IT services. The methodological focus is on theoretical foundations as well as on their practical application with software tools. Bachelor and master theses can put emphasis on theoretical questions or can be conducted in cooperation with companies or public authorities. „Last, but not least“, a key goal of the teaching activities is to motivate students to continue working on IT security and the design of Internet-based services.
