Congratulations to Prof Dr Christian Weckenborg!
The Professor of Business Chemistry at the University of Regensburg has been honoured with the "BME Science Award 2026" in the habilitation category.
With this award, the German Association of Materials Management, Purchasing and Logistics honours outstanding scientific achievements in purchasing, logistics and supply chain management. His habilitation thesis on sustainable development in the management of industrial production and logistics was honoured. He presented his work at the 19th Scientific Symposium "Supply Management" on 9 March at the University of Mannheim.
