The German word "Stammtisch" can be translated in English as "Regulars' Table". It is an informal get-together of friends or colleagues that occurs at frequent intervals, usually at a bar or restaurant.
Every month, we at the Welcome Center organize a Stammtisch for our international phd students, postdocs and visiting researchers. Despite the tradition of Stammtisch, visiting the same place every time, we change our location every month to discover new places.
It's not only a great opportunity to discover new places in Regensburg, but also to meet new friends, as well as network for your research.
Twice a year, we also organize a Stammtisch at the Dult, which is Regensburg's Oktoberfest.
