“Just 13 more nights to go, then it finally begins: my teaching at the University of Regensburg!” says Professor Hartmann, looking forward to the start of the lectures.

The lecture on commercial and business law is ideal for gaining a deeper understanding of a field of law that deals with a socially important and legally fascinating area of life – and is also highly interesting for future careers. The lecture also offers a valuable opportunity to revise and consolidate exam-relevant parts of the compulsory syllabus from EU law and constitutional law, general administrative law, public safety law and law on administrative procedure – using the economy as a case study. The commercial and business law lecture takes place on Wednesdays at 10.00 am (sharp) in Lecture Theatre H16.

Law and Economics is particularly exciting because it provides an initial insight into economic thinking. Looking beyond the horizon is, at the same time, a look at the immediate picture: we ask ourselves what selected economic concepts mean for the law. To do this, we must answer the question of whether, and within what limits, efficiency considerations can have any legal significance at all. The ‘Law and Economics’ lecture takes place on Wednesdays at 2 pm (sharp) in Lecture Theatre H24.
