We invite all researchers who are interested in engaging with Memory Studies or already committed to this field in their work, to join us for this two-day workshop. Its goal is to equip participants with theoretical and methodological tools to engage with marginalized perspectives in researching cultures of memory. The focus will lie on approaches coming from the fields of queer-feminist, postcolonial, and critical race theory. Further, the workshop will include a practical dimension and will enable participants to “do” margins of memory, with a special focus on their respective individual research projects.
