This paper focuses on independent narratives about Melchizedek which are preserved in several Romanian manuscripts and monastic books. It describes the relation between the manuscript and printed traditions, it establishes their sources and their connection with other narratives about Melchizedek transmitted in Romanian, and it inquires whether they had any liturgical role.
