`Identify and Understand`: e.g. intertemporal problems/ ethics/ intergenerational challenges caused by the climate change, sustainability due diligence
`Avoid and Adapt`: e.g. CSR/ GRI in the real estate business, quantification of sustainable features (Carbon Quantification, Lifecycle Costing (LCC), Integrated Planning, Lifecycle Assessment (LCA), Green Labels)
`Modify and Innovate`: e.g. business segment strategies focused on the adaption of the climate change, optimization of sustainable real estate investments (development of customized financial instruments)

Short biography

Before his activities at IRE|BS (University of Regensburg) started, Prof. Dr. Sven Bienert worked for a couple of leading international consultancies with focus on real estate advisory and gained extensive experience within the financial services sector during a quadrennial engagement at a German private bank.

Prof. Dr. Sven Bienert is dedicated to applied research and development with focus on real estate. He is initiator of numerous projects in cooperation with different valuation associations like RICS, TEGoVA, FIABCI, Gif, ÖVI, ARE.
