Ebsco Academic Search Ultimate

The multidisciplinary database Ebsco Academic Search Ultimate contains the full texts of approximately 9,200 scientific journals and magazines as well as reports, books and videos from all subject areas. Among other things, it offers a collection of peer-reviewed journals in full text.

In connection with the Corona Crisis this database is available until July 31, 2020.


Gale Reference Complete - Academic

The multidisciplinary database Gale Reference Complete - Academic includes access to the following resources in addition to the Gale Ebooks already regularly licenced by the Regensburg University Library:
  • Gale Academic OneFile: Articles from over 17,000 journals and other sources, including videos from BBC Worldwide Learning, podcasts and transcripts from CNN; more than 11,000 peer-reviewed journals (more than 8,000 full-text) and reference works, including the Gale Encyclopaedia of Science and Encyclopaedia of World Biography
  • Gale General OneFile: general and multidisciplinary newspapers and journals
    Gale OneFile: News: more than 2,300 newspapers; also includes thousands of pictures, radio and television broadcasts and transcripts
  • Gale Literary Sources: Literature databases, e.g. Dictionary of Literary Biography Complete Online, Literature Criticism Online and Litfinder
  • Archives Unbound: primary literature from the fields of history, literature, American studies, political science, gender studies, etc.

JSTOR gives you access to the following collections
