B.A. (Bachelor of Arts)

The B.A. degree at the University of Regensburg requires the combination of art history with at least one more subject of study. Generally, this subject/these subjects can be any discipline within the field of the humanities; in specific cases, other disciplines are accepted as well. The basic possibilities of combination are:

  • First major subject (field of study) + second major subject
  • Major subject (field of study) + first minor subject + second minor subject

Art history can take up any of the positions within the above combinations.

If you consider continuing your studies at another university, it is most advisable to choose a three-subject combination for your B. A. studies as it is custom at most other German universities.

Regular duration 6 semesters (three academic years)
Workload 180 ECTS in the above-mentioned combinations
Immatriculation At the Registrar’s Office of the University of Regensburg
