Mert Nomer

Zur Person

Mert Nomer has studied and taught law in Turkey. He also holds a LLM degree in public law from Bahcesehir University Istanbul. Currently he is writing his doctorate thesis at Bahcesehir University Social Sciences Institute.
Mr. Nomer is working as teaching & research assistant in Bahcesehir University Law Faculty in Public Law Department since 2010. He has published several articles in refereed law journals about human rights, constitutional law and presidentialism. He also wrote a book titled "Presidential Power in USA" as is LLM thesis in Berkeley Boalt School of Law where he was invited as visiting scholar.
In 2016 Mr. Nomer taught "Introduction to Turkish Constitutional Law" in Regensburg University under the Erasmus Academics Program.
This year he is in Regensburg University under International Visiting Professor Program.
He is the instructor for "Human Rights and Turkey: A Comparative Approach" and "Government Systems and Contemporary Constitutional Discussions in Turkey" courses in Regensburg University's 2017 Summer Term.
