COVID-19 - Effects on the Winter Semester 2021_22

Dear students,

the situation in Germany has very much improved, and we have no lockdown situation any longer. Shops, restaurants, museums have opened again, and we are already planning with some outdoor extra-curricular activities.

Here is our planning for the winter semester (conditional)

Office Hours

Office hours are possible by appointments only.

You may reach us as well via email, phone or online (ZOOM)-office hours.

Winter Semester 2021

The university is planning for an almost regular semester with in-person teaching.

However, you should be prepared to switch to online teaching if necessary. Therefore, please bring all your technical devices with you incl. a LAN-cabel, maybe an adapter for using a LAN cabel with your laptop as we cannot say whether your housing has a stable WIFI connection or not.

Remote Student Status /Virtual Studies

Unfortunately, we won't be able to offer exchange students to stay in their home country and to remote studies only.

Practical Training

If you plan on doing practical training only, contact your advisor or the International Office whether this will be possible as only a  limited number of students are admitted to practical training units.
