Startklar – Orientation Program

What does "Startklar" stand for?

Startklar is an orientation program free of charge for new international students.

Write an e-mail to international.startklar@ur.de with these particulars:

- Last name, first name

- Date of birth

- Nationality

- In the winter term 2018/19 you will be starting:

  • 1- the German language course or
  • 2- regular studies?
  • If 2: which studies and which certificate (Bachelor, Master, PhD...)

- Do you want to participate in English or in German?

Content and Organization

During the program you will receive all necessary information and help you need for completing the formalities at the beginning of your studies e.g. opening a bank account, getting health insurance, getting your student ID, visa regulations.

The program includes tours through the library, the computer labs, several campus tours, extra-curricular activities as well as guided tours through the city.

The Orientation Program "Startklar“ for the winter semester 2018/19 will take place from October 1st to October 12th. More concrete information about the content you will find here soon.

Startklar will be offered in German and in English in two parallel groups in winter term 2018/19. Please let us know in your registration which of the two groups you prefer.
