Powerpoint slides for Academic presentations (B5-2301)
Most oral presentations at university or at conferences are supplemented by PowerPoint slides, but they don't guarantee a good presentation. What makes a slide show work is the way it's structured and designed, and above all, its ability to convey a message in a clear and coherent manner. In this workshop, we will draw on relevant aspects of multimedia learning theory to talk about different scenarios that might call for a PowerPoint slide show and work on effective visuals for your next presentation.
After attending this workshop, you will be able to:
- Effectively visualize content that is tailored to your audience
- Design slide shows
In addition to providing a sound theoretical foundation, we will also focus on designing slides for your own presentation.
