Vice-Rectors of Universität Regensburg

The University Management consists of the Rector, the Secretary and Chief Financial Officer as well as of three other elected members, the Vice-Rectors. A Vice-Rector is elected for a four-semester term of office, and it is possible for them to be re-elected for additional terms of office without restriction of time.

Vice-Rectors are also members of the Extended University Management and take part at Board of Governors and Senate meetings.

The Vice-Rectors are nominated for election by the university‘s rector. They must declare their consent to be nominated in writing. Vice-Rectors are elected by the voting members of the Board of Governors at a meeting during term time.
