Support for all research issues

Duties

The vice-rector supports all research activities of Universität Regensburg together with the Research Council. These include recommendations regarding the research support offered by the university, in particular the financing of early stage research for emerging academics as well as individual or association projects which are especially worthy of support. It is also the duty of the vice-rectorate to give advice regarding special programmes of individual or association projects, as well as recommendations regarding the strategic alignment of research associations.
The vice-rectorate particularly wishes to support young academics working their way into a career of their own, for example through counselling provided by numerous national and international programmes which further new generation of academics.
