Aktuelle Forschungsschwerpunkte


1. Septuaginta Lexikografie, u.a. als Mitglied des Board of Advisors: „Historical Theological Lexicon of the Septuagint“, initiiert von Eberhard Bons und Jan Joosten (Universität Straßburg).

Dieses Lexikon wird in 5 oder 6 Bänden erscheinen und alle theologisch wichtigen Wörter der griechischen Fassung des Alten Testaments kommentieren, gemäß ihrem Vorkommen im klassischen Griechisch, im Koinègriechischen, in der Septuaginta, in zur Septuaginta zeitgenössischen jüdischen Quellen, im Neuen Testament sowie in frühgriechischer patristischer Literatur.

2. The International Bible Commentary

Dieser einbändige Bibelkommentar ist bisher in 6 Ausgaben erschienen: Englisch (1998), Spanisch (1999), Polnisch (2000), Niederländisch (2001), eine neue englische Ausgabe in Indien (2005) und Ukrainisch (2017). Weitere Ausgaben werden vorbereitet.
