Educational Science (EWS) is an important part of the teacher training programme alongside the teaching subjects and internships.

Educational Science is divided into three fields:

  • General pedagogy
  • School education
  • Educational psychology

You can find more detailed information on the modules in the individual areas.

You can flexibly integrate the education programmes into your Timetable. A total of 35 CP must be completed by the State Examination. You decide for yourself when you take which modules.

Please note that there are school type-specific guidelines (primary, secondary and intermediate schools) for education in the GOP (basic and orientation examination).

You can find more information on the educational science programme at INFO-EWS.
