Maria Gürtner has received the Dr Katharina Sailer Foundation Prize from the University of Regensburg for her dissertation "New and Old Women: Intergenerationality and Contested Spaces in New Woman and (Anti-)Suffrage Writing". This prize is awarded annually to honour and promote outstanding academic achievements in the field of British studies. She was awarded the prize on 9 February 2024 at the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures. Congratulations to her!
