Dr Lisa Keller completed her PhD at the Chair of Educational Data Science, where her research focused on the use of the ‘Pop-Up Education’ method to impart socially critical computer science knowledge to the wider public. Her doctoral thesis, entitled ‘Society-Oriented Scientific and Engineering Discourse through Pop-Up Education’, was supervised by Prof. Dr. habil. Sven Hilbert of the University of Regensburg and Prof. Dr. habil. Nicholas Müller of the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Her doctoral thesis has now placed her amongst the ten nominees for the ARD/ZDF Sponsorship Award, which recognises forward-looking ideas in the field of media technology.
