Biomedical Sciences (Dr rer. physiol.)
The academic degree of Doctor of Biomedical Sciences (Dr. rerum physiologicarum) is primarily intended for alumni/alumnae of natural sciences and life science Master's programmes. Biomedical sciences include the molecular basis of physiological and pathophysiological processes as well as the experimental and theoretical methods underlying this research, including bioinformatics and systems biology. The project outline must be sent to the office of the doctoral committee within the first 3 months after the start of the project/working contract. Doctoral Program
- Supervision by a mentoring team (1 supervisor, 2 mentors)
The mentoring team supports the doctoral student and ensures the efficient and successful progress of the dissertation project. Besides, the mentoring team advises the doctoral student in occupational questions. - Active participation in colloquia, seminars, and internships
