News: Rudolf Englert: "Is religion possible without theology?"

In summer 2019, religious educator Rudolf Englert held the Joseph Ratzinger Pope Benedict XVI Visiting Professorship at our faculty. Under six concise headings, his lectures examine what theology can and should achieve when systematically comprehensible content of faith is rapidly losing importance, while diverse forms of an individualised search for meaning are booming. Theological, pedagogical and empirical perspectives are intertwined. Englert's Regensburg lectures have just been published by Herder-Verlag under the title "Geht Religion auch ihne Theologie?".
