Prof. Dr. Nikolaus Mohr has been a partner at McKinsey & Co. in Düsseldorf since April, 2015. He advises and supports clients from different industries in the conception of their digital strategies and the development of their digital transformation Roadmaps.
He was previously Managing Director and Managing Partner at Accenture Germany for about 10 years and was a Managing Partner at Mücke, Sturm & Company (MS&C) in Germany for just under 2 years. At Accenture, he oversaw the telecommunication and media client portfolio and provided management consultancy services in the areas of telecommunications, media, and high-tech/defence throughout the German speaking region (Germany/Austria/Switzerland). In addition, he represented an internationally-operating telecommunications company around the globe as a Client Partner and was the Europe/LA lead for Accenture’s Client Value Lab (valuation practice).
He has over 20 years’ experience as a strategy consultant in the development and implementation of projects in the fields of strategy, organization, and IT/Technology at top management level in a wide array of industries (including telecommunications, media, consumer electronics, automotive supply, banking, and manufacturing). As a well-known expert on digital transformation and trends in the telecommunications, media, and high-tech industry, he is a much sought after interview partner for discussions on industry trends and digitalization. Dr. Mohr is the author of management books, articles and studies, such as “Mobile Web Watch“, “Interactive Broadband Media”, “Widerstand erfolgreich managen”, and “Herausforderung Transformation”.
During his academic career, Dr. Mohr has taught International Business Strategy as a guest lecturer at the University of Georgia and is currently lecturing on Strategic Transformation Management as an Honorary Professor at the University of Regensburg. He received his Ph.D. in Business Administration.
