During the graduation ceremony of the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Regensburg, Miriam Burghard was awarded the prestigious Bachelor Prize of the German Operations Research Society for her outstanding bachelor's thesis titled "Analysis of non-stationary production networks". The thesis was conducted at the Chair of Production Management and impressed with its rigorous analysis and creative ideas for advancing an operations research methodology. Prof. Dr. Justus Arne Schwarz presented the award to Ms. Burghard and emphasized that the prize also serves as a clear signal that scientific work and research are already integral parts of the bachelor's program at the University of Regensburg.
