Cover and Answer Sheets

For the take-home exams of the Department of Economics and Econometrics there are templates for cover and answer sheets. Here are the ready-to-print templates:

TEMPLATE FOR COVER AND ANSWER SHEETS

Please only use these templates as cover sheet and for answering questions. You exam must have a cover sheet in any case. There maybe exam-specific requirements or answer sheets (for example for a multiple-choice test). Please inform yourself on your GRIPS course page or ask your professor about the specific requirements for your exam.

If you do not have access to a printing device, you can design the cover and answer sheet by hand. Please note that the information on your handwritten sheets need to be exactly the same and in the same order as on the above templates. Otherwise we can not accept your exam.

Scanning of handwritten solutions

There are many ways to digitalize your handwritten solution. Next to multipurpose/scanning devices there are several apps that allow you to scan your solution with a smartphone. It is very important that you practice to scan and upload documents before your first take-home-exam.

Important when scanning with your smartphone:
Please make sue that the pdf-file you create is not too big. Otherwise you might run into problems when trying to upload your solution.

In the Department of Economics and Econometrics we tested the free app Microsoft Office Lense. You can watch how to use this app in the video tutorial.

Technical requirements

The minimum technical equipment needed for a take-home exam is:

  • A stable internet connection to upload your digitalized solution into the online examinination system.

Please organize these technical devices well in advance and get familiar with the technical process of writing an online take-home exam (for example by watching the video tutorial and doing the test exam).

In addition, the following technical devices are useful:

  • A notebook or tablet with a larger screen to view the exam questions.
