Research
I started my PhD in November 2021. My research focuses on social-cognitive development in early childhood, and in particular on the development of prosociality. I am part of the DFG project "Brain, Gene, Environmental Interactions in the Ontogenesis of Early Prosocial Behaviour", in which mothers and their children are followed from pregnancy to the end of the second year. I use behavioural experiments, eye tracking methods and functional imaging techniques (fMRI) to investigate early helping behaviour, taking into account socialisation experiences, early brain development, as well as motor and cognitive development in early childhood.
