Research

I am a PhD student at the University of Regensburg since 2025 and a recipient of a Studienstiftung des deutschen Volkes scholarship. My research focuses on maternal unpredictability and its role in shaping children’s socioemotional and cognitive development, as well as its potential contribution to the intergenerational transmission of trauma. I am especially interested in cross-cultural research and in extending developmental science to underrepresented populations in the Global South.
