former sociology degree programme

Note on sociology at the University of Regensburg

The sociology degree programme (Diplom, Magister; as a Minor Subject in other Diplom degree programmes; in the teacher training programme) has been discontinued. It is no longer possible to start the programme!

Since the winter semester 2010/11, sociology can be taken as an extension subject within the framework of social studies(teaching degree for grammar school and secondary school).

The courses currently offered in sociology are aimed in particular at student teachers in the social studies extension subject.

Some courses are also open to certain other degree programmes.

If places are available, students interested in other degree programmes can also take part on request.
