The academic life of former chair Prof. Dr Martin Sebaldt was honoured in a festive gathering on 23 October 2025. Although only a preliminary version of the commemorative publication edited by Alexander Straßner and Simon Bein could be presented, the gratitude of all companions, friends, doctoral students and former colleagues was no less great. Sebaldt's mentor and doctoral supervisor Prof Dr Heinrich Oberreuter was among those who travelled from Passau, and many other authors were also present.
