B.Sc. Ayumi Sarah Wandl

Research Interest

I am a Master's student in the Emmy Noether Group. I am interested in the behavioral and neuronal mechanisms of inhibitory processing involved in learning and brain plasticity. For my research I use a combination of psychophysics and brain imaging in human participants.

• Since 05/2022: Seating Guard in the district hospital in Regensburg, Germany: providing support in taking care of mentally ill patients.
• 02/2022 - 03/2022: Internship at the Psychology and Psychotherapy Department at the Clinic for Juvenile Forensic Psychiatry and Psychotherapy. Regensburg, Germany. 
• 10/2020 - 04/2022: Research Assistant at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at University of Regensburg, Germany. Research topic: Virtual Reality in the treatment of nicotine dependency.
• 11/2019 - 09/2020: Research Internship at the Chair of Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy at University of Regensburg, Germany. Research topic: Virtual Reality in smoking cessation.
