The research at the Chair for Public Law, Real Estate Law, Infrastructure Law, and Information Law is interdisciplinary, thanks to its affiliation both with the Faculty of Law and the International Real Estate Business School (IREBS) at the Faculty of Economics.

RESEARCH TOPICS

The research at the Chair concentrates on public law aspects of the broad, dynamic, and innovative areas of Public Real Estate Law, Regulated Network Industries, and Information Society Law. The focus of this research is placed on cross-sectoral problems such as issues in the aftermath of privatizations or conflicts in the multi-level system of the European constitutional area. We also analyse individual challenges of general Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, and European Union Law.

·         Public Real Estate Law

·         Infrastructure Law

·         Information Society Law

EDUCATIONAL GOALS

The Chair puts a special emphasis in its teaching on the newly created pathway “Real Estate Law”, within the law school’s optional studies programs. These courses are complemented by lectures from the entire spectrum of basic legal training as well as classes in the pathways “Information Society Law”, “Economic Law”, and “European and International Law”.
